ICT Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive ICT Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of complex networking and cloud solution projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical project management expertise and a solid understanding of infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, and security solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving strategic ICT initiatives that improve performance, security, and scalability across our digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Work with partners and clients to document business requirements and lead development of functional and technical specifications.

Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of ICT infrastructure and cloud-related projects.

Drive successful outcomes for a range of high-impact technical projects. Examples of the projects that may be undertaken include:
-
Delivery of data storage and application solutions, including market scans, solution analysis, proofs of concept and transition strategy development.

ICT infrastructure refresh or replacement, including detailed planning and management of transition, with emphasis on risk minimisation and limitation of disruption to business-as-usual operations.

ICT security infrastructure enhancement with emphasis on cloud-based solutions aligned to organisational security policies.

Develop and maintain project artefacts such as:

Project Initiation Documents (PID)
-
Project Plans and Schedules (preferably using MS Project)
-
Risk, Assumption, Issue and Dependency (RAID) Logs
-
Status Reports and Dashboards
-
Project Closure Reports

Create and maintain technical and process diagrams using Lucidchart to support clear communication and documentation.

Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and timelines.

Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
-
Ensure compliance with organisational project management frameworks and governance structures.
-
Ensure effective transition from project to operations.
-
Facilitate regular project meetings, provide clear communication across teams, and report to senior management and executive sponsors.
Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ICT project management, with a proven track record of delivering infrastructure and cloud-based projects.

Experience with Lucidchart for creating process flows, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation.

Strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking concepts, and enterprise security platforms.
-
Hands-on experience managing vendor relationships and third-party solution integrations.
-
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).

Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
-
Willingness to undertake inter and intrastate travel to meet customer requirements.
